Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA
As part of Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA's rebuilding following the tsunami, we are working with a wide spectrum of unions in Aceh, assisting trade union training, strengthening and development. While most of this training is being delivered by Indonesian union trainers, we would be interesed to see if there were any Bahasa-speaking union trainers or organisers in Australia who would be interested in going to Aceh for about 2 months a year for two years to do some union train-ther-trainer
work. Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA would cover the wages, living allowance, transport, and insurance for the position.
Please get back to Peter Jennings at pjennings@apheda.org.au or Ph: (02) 9264 9343 if there is
anyone in your union who you think might be able to fill the position.
Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA is the overseas humanitarian aid agency of the Australian Council of Trade Unions. Join us in our struggle to promote workers' rights, justice and solidarity around the world -- join our Global Justice Program today.
