Vic Gov IR Campaign Launch
Trades Hall Assistant Secretary, Nathan Niven with Industrial Relations Minister, Rob Hulls , were joined by VTHC President Peter Marshall, and many union delegates at the launch of the Victorian Government's IR advertising campaign launch, on Wednesday 3rd August.
The information campaign was launched by the Minister for Industrial Relations, Rob Hulls. Mr Hulls said "the campaign was aimed at all Victorians, but especially those 350,000 workers who gained federal award protection on January 1 this year."
The ad itself is eye catching to the reader and in plain English explains what the changes will mean to Victorian working families. Assistant Secretary Nathan Niven said," it's good to see the State Labor Governments representing their constituents and doing the responsible thing by properly informing the electorate of the repercussions of the Howard IR reform proposals."
