Data Entry/Administration Officer

Temporary appointment to 22nd December 2006

Salary Range:   $40,152 - $43,717 p/a
Applications are sought for a person to work in our membership department. The successful person must be experienced and have the ability to deliver accurate data entry administrative support. The position also involves member and employer contact which must be carried out in a courteous manner.
APPLICATIONS MUST ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING SELECTION CRITERIA:
  • Data entry skills with proven accuracy of alpha numeric skills & speed
  • Word processing knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of office systems
  • Experience with membership data base
  • Customer service background, particularly in a membership environment
  • Capacity to work as a team member in a high volume work area with deadlines
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Knowledge of and a commitment to the union movement
