VTHC Return to Work Unit

The Victorian Trades Hall Council has set up a Return to Work Unit to challenge the barriers that stop injured workers returning to full and meaningful employment.

A big part of the VTHC initiative is to provide training to workers and their representatives. The training includes practical tools, information and advice about injured workers’ rights to return to work:

  • The return to work process
  • The rights and responsibilities of all people involved in the RTW process.
  • How flexibility can bring back skills
  • How returning to work benefits workers, employers and the community
  • Barriers to returning to work

Over 85 people attended the "Workplace Stress: A Time Bomb" forum in Melbourne on August 27th 2008 run by the Return to Work Unit.

Download Return to Work and Workplace Stress Document from the Forum
Download Psychosocial Risks at Work Doc from the Forum

The feedback has been fantastic and we are now running a forum in Portland on the 23rd  2008. Download Portland Forum Flier.
